Ira has been a clinic nurse at BHSA since January 2022 and has 30 years of nursing experience in Behavioral/Mental Health mostly with children.
She received her master of Social work from University of Arkansas in Little Rock with an emphasis in policy and a Bachelors in Nursing from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Ira’s philosophy of nursing is to help people help themselves.
She strives to empower people with skills to be able to navigate the healthcare arena whether insurance or pharmacy so that they may have access to resources for their medication needs. She really values a team approach where the client is the center and we support that client to be their individual best.
"Don’t let the best be the enemy of the good, progress not perfection."
