Alia Moore is the Intake Coordinator at Behavioral Health Services of Arkansas (BHSA). In her role, she processes all outpatient intake and new patient appointments, verifies health coverage prior to scheduling, and pairs each new client with the therapist best suited to their needs.
Alia holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology with a minor in Sociology and in Professional & Technical Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She has also passed her National Counselor Examination (NCE) in March 2024 and has a pending application for Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) licensure before the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling (ARBOEC). She is pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling at John Brown University, with an expected completion date of May 2026. Additionally, pending her degree, she will be certified with the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) as a Rehabilitation Counselor.

Alia’s approach to behavioral health is rooted in the belief that mental healthcare is as essential as physical healthcare. She advocates for the bio-psycho-social alignment in the human body and recognizes the importance of addressing unmet needs in order to provide clients with the necessary tools to cope and move forward.
Outside of her professional life, Alia enjoys a meaningful and busy life with her three dogs and one child.
