Susan has been a clinician since 1998 with areas of specialization including trauma informed care, grief and loss issues, school-based mental health services, and clinical supervision and program management.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Central Arkansas and her Master of Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Susan has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, hospice, and school-based settings. She joined the BHSA team in March of 2017. In describing her work, Susan stated, “I am enthusiastic and strive to empower clients, and team members. Our team is devoted to patient care and we work together to provide an environment where everyone feels comfortable to express their ideas and get the support they need to make their life better.” Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She loves sports, music, and arts and crafts.
