Roy works with a wide range of clients, from school age, teenagers, young adults, to working with adults and parenting strategies and seniors.
He incorporates music therapy, guitar, and songwriting for clients interested in music. He also teaches mindfulness as an intervention for stress and anxiety. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and his Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He has been a licensed social worker since 1993 and has worked with chronically mentally ill clients, community-based therapy programs, and private non-profit mental health organizations. Roy has been with BHSA since 2001. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, most outdoor activities, and traveling.
